China and Pakistan have signed an agreement for a significant breakthrough and market access of Pakistani mangoes in China. The protocol was signed among the ministry of national food security and research, and General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) of China. The document signed on the basis of python-sanitary requirements.
Pakistan is aggressively expanding the mango export and looking forward to access diverse markets such as the USA, South Korea, Japan, and Mauritius. As per the agreement, all packing and storage facilities necessary for exporting the excellent quality mango to China shall fulfill the requirements through concerned systems. The agreement shall be practiced for two years and would be extendible for the future period.
It was assured that the relevant departments would give their best to cooperate with Chinese phytosanitary requirements. This agreement considered as a step forward towards the mutual trade benefits among both countries.
