KINNOW ORANGE PROCESSING PLANT AT SAREMCO INPEX (PVT) LTD
SAREMCO INPEX (PVT) LTD owns its own mandarin farms in Sargodha, Pakistan. The mandarins grown in Sargodha are renowned for their superior taste compared to other regions in Pakistan.
In fact, approximately 80% of Pakistan’s mandarin orange production originates from Sargodha. Saremco International sources its orange supply directly from its own farm and subsequently transports them to a processing facility. At the processing plant, the oranges are meticulously sorted based on their shapes and sizes.
The size of both Kinnow and regular oranges determines how many can be accommodated in each packaging box. Following this sorting process, all the Kinnow mandarins undergo a thorough cleaning in a specialised chamber, which effectively removes any extraneous impurities. After this cleaning step, the mandarins are ready for packaging.
PACKAGING PROCESS BY SAREMCO INPEX (PVT) LTD
The packaging process for Mandarin Kinnow at Saremco is handled with meticulous care. Once the mandarins are received from the processing plant, they are sorted and packed according to their sizes. These mandarins are packed into cardboard boxes, with each box typically weighing around 10 kilograms. The number of mandarins in each box varies depending on the size of the mandarins being packed, usually ranging from 47 to 110 mandarins per box. Following the packaging, the trading process commences for these boxed mandarins.
TRADING PROCEDURE BY SAREMCO INPEX (PVT) LTD
In this phase, Saremco personnel initiate the export of Kinnow from Pakistan. Clients provide all the necessary information about their product requirements, specifying the size and quantity of oranges needed. With these details in hand, we customize each container accordingly.
Before the export process begins, each cardboard box is stored in our warehouse where no light exposure occurs. This method preserves the freshness of the oranges and prevents spoilage. Saremco INPEX ships their oranges in reefer containers, specifically designed for exporting agricultural products.
This approach ensures that customers receive their products in containers with controlled temperatures, significantly reducing the risk of spoilage for the oranges during transit.
